About BEESUITWEAR

Protective apparel, specified honestly

High quality, lightweight and comfortable beekeeping suits designed for maximum protection, breathability and performance.

What we make

42 products across 11 categories: ventilated and cotton bee suits, jackets and smocks, gloves, veils and hats, kids’ suits, and spares. Sizes run from X-Small to 5X-Large, and anything in between can be cut to measure.

How we talk about it

Protective equipment reduces risk; it does not remove it. No suit makes a sting impossible, and any shop that tells you otherwise is selling rather than advising.

So we would rather explain the trade-off. Ventilated mesh is cooler and holds the cloth off your skin; cotton is quieter against the hive, cheaper and easier to repair. Which is right depends on your climate, your colonies, and how long you work at a stretch — not on which one costs more.

The fabrics

  • Ventilated Mesh

Bonded multi-layer mesh. Holds the outer face clear of the skin and moves air through the gap. Used across the ventilated range.

  • Poly-Cotton

Woven poly-cotton. The traditional bee-suit cloth: quieter against the hive, straightforward to repair, and hard-wearing.

  • Ultralight Ripstop

Lightweight ripstop for quick inspections and packing down small.
