How your suit is made
Five steps, every one of them done before the suit is folded.
The cloth
Ventilated mesh, poly-cotton or ripstop — chosen for the climate the suit will be worn in, not for what is cheapest that week.
Cut
Graded to size, or cut to your own nine measurements. Every panel comes off the same pattern set.
Stitched
Load-bearing seams are double-stitched, and the veil zip is set by hand — it is the part that fails first if it is rushed.
Checked
Seams, zips, elastic and veil mesh inspected before anything is folded. A suit with a gap in it is not protective equipment.
Packed & shipped
Folded loose rather than vacuum-packed — compression sets a permanent crease in a mesh core.
